Lucky Dog Analytics
Final project and proof of concept for a fictional B2B distributor, WWI.
As part of the Sales Engineering for Data & AI course, my teammate and I created Lucky Dog Analytics, a fictional consulting firm hired to help WWI improve inventory and operational efficiency.
We developed a platform concept focused on forecasting, cold storage optimization, shipping cost reduction, and credit exposure tracking. The solution was built in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, accompanied by a full statement of work and a C-suite-level pitch deck.
This project sharpened my skills in problem framing, technical storytelling, stakeholder communication, and designing data-informed solutions that are both functional and persuasive.
It was the most directly applicable course of my MSDS program- showing me how to "sell" ideas, not just build them. I now use what I learned here regularly in my property management work when proposing tools, vendors, or process changes.
The company name and logo were inspired by my dog, Marshmellow, who stayed by my side for countless late nights and deadline sprints. Lucky Dog, indeed.
